hoarding – At the request of Grand Prairie Animal Services, AIR provided veterinary and placement assistance to cats seized from a criminal hoarding case. Because of COVID the shelter did not need daily care assistance since they were trying to keep the traffic through the shelter to a minimum. AIR volunteer veterinarians, veterinary techs and Responders provided forensic/health exams, vaccines, and other treatment to help assure health of the cats. Many of the cats had severe medical issues. AIR also provided transport and placement assistance for cats not placed on the adoption floor. Length: 8 weeks Placement: 99%
