flood evacuation – AIR responders received an emergency request to assist Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, a farm animal sanctuary, with the evacuation of 133 livestock animals 30 miles south of Houston. The sanctuary was in imminent danger of flooding. AIR Responders deployed resources (AIR’s 40 ft Response Unit)  to the sanctuary to evacuate 133 animals (cows, goats, pigs, chickens, horses) to a second property 2 hours away. The non stop rain added to the difficulty but we got the job done and all the animals were moved to safety just in the nick of time. Length: 2 days. Placement: 100%
